Project description: Tokyo Design Week (TDW) originated in the mid-90’s in Tokyo's design district as a gesture to celebrate creativity. This annual show has grown through the years to become a collective showcase of some of the greatest minds nationally and internationally. With attendance of over 100,000 visitors in 2010, TDW pulled in crowds of all ages to engage in design thinking. Autodesk attended the event in 2017 as an effort to grow its brand awareness into this region and sector. The space featured an array of gallery exhibits as well as a hands-on 3D printing workshop experience, classes and a Design Night event.
Role: Concept design, environment and furniture design, exhibit design, space planning, 3D visualization, coordination with on-site vendors to set up and break down space
